Powers Elementary-Weekly Newsletter
August 30th
April 28 - May 2
Hi Powers Families...
We are proud of our 3rd grade students for their efforts on the 3rd grade state assessments and for the rest of the students that made sure they were quiet and provided a great environment for students to do their best on their testing.
... from the library... Over spring break the Avon Lake eagle cam went down with the storms. In the library, students are now watching explore.org. The eagles in Wisconsin, Mr.T and Mrs. T, currently have 2 eaglets and another egg hatching. We wanted you to have the link in case you wanted to take a look at home.

Pay School Notifications - School Lunch Fees
We noticed a jump in students owing for their lunch accounts this past week and worked with Pay School to find out that their system stopped generating notifications to families about their accounts. We believe they have reset the system so notifications and reminders will be sent out. If you are unsure, please check your child's account balance so that we can get them taken care of before the end of the year. Thanks.
