What Are We watching?

To celebrate the oncoming of Valentines Day our Film Club will be watching "The Lobster." This is a dystopian film about a near future which requires all citizens to be engaged in a romantic relationship as means of proving their capacity for empathy which serves as a representation of their capacity to be an ideal citizen. It is a dark comedy that will truly churn your stomach in some aspects but still remains silly enough to justify its bleak nature. Come watch it with us, it's a beautiful film!

Join us for Interact Club meetings on the first and third Friday of every month from 4:00pm-5:00pm!

(Activities usually happen on Saturdays.)

It’s not too late to join the Interact Club, which is the school’s community service club. Whether you’re a student or a parent advocating for your child, please consider joining (Interact) to participate in the 60 to 70 hours of annual community service activities that we are involved in. Activities include food distributions working with the county commissioners to address those with food insecurity, local County Commissioner holiday events, working with seniors at Solivita for their annual fall festival and their annual car show, and working with various other community organizations, such as Bella Lago‘s Castle Group, at the Poinciana Chamber of Commerce, to name a few.

International Club will meet once a month.

Are you curious, creative, or just looking for a fun way to spend your Tuesday afternoons? The STEAM Club invites YOU to explore our Maker Space! This is a no commitment club. Just show up whenever you can, now through Spring Break.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's the perfect opportunity to use the vinyl cutter, 3D printer, and laser engraver to make something special for your friends and family.

(You must have a ride to pick you up at 5:30pm to participate.)
