Dear Janney Families,

Thank you for your flexibility and partnership this week, especially as we adjusted to the early dismissal due to weather. We appreciate your continued support in helping us ensure a safe and smooth school day for all students.

As we move through March, we are proud to celebrate Women’s History Month. This month offers an opportunity for our students to learn about and reflect on the contributions, leadership, and impact of women throughout history and within our own community.

Here at Janney, we are especially proud to uplift Blanche Louise Pulizzi, Janney’s first principal, who led our school from 1925 to 1941. Her leadership helped lay the foundation for the strong, connected community we continue to build today. Her legacy reminds us of the power of leadership grounded in purpose, care, and community. If you are interested in learning more about Janney’s rich history, we invite you to explore the Janney Days book here.

We also extend warm wishes to all who are celebrating Eid later this week. Eid Mubarak to our Janney families. May this special time bring peace, joy, and togetherness to you and your loved ones.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership.

Principal Singh

✍🏻 Panorama Spring Surveys

Our Panorama Spring Surveys for students, families, teachers and staff, and school leaders have been open for almost two weeks and will remain open through Friday, April 3. We are hoping for 100 percent participation.

As of today, we have received 50 responses. Your feedback is extremely important and helps us understand what is working well at our school and where we can continue to grow. The information from these surveys directly informs how we support students, families, and staff.

If you have not yet completed the survey, please consider taking a few minutes to do so. Your voice matters and helps us continue building a strong school community for every student.

This year’s event was successful thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers and we're looking for strong parent leadership, particularly around sponsorships, partnerships, and creative approaches to managing costs. If you're interested in learning more about helping lead or shape the future of the 5K, please reach out to Jennifer Records or Beth Kuhnhein.
