Hines Mission and Vision

Mission: At Hines Elementary, it is our unwavering commitment to establish a safe and inclusive learning environment. Our students will feel loved, supported, and find joy in learning. ❤️

Vision: At Hines Elementary, we are committed to cultivating a vibrant and dynamic learning environment that ignites curiosity, fosters creativity, and celebrates student achievements. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for critical thinking that are essential for academic success and positive character growth. Through collaboration with families and the wider community, we strive to empower our students to reach their full potential and become responsible, compassionate, and engaged citizens.

A Note from Mrs. Mathe

Today, our 2nd grade students had an amazing time at the Houston Interactive Zoo and Aquarium! They created so many wonderful memories while interacting with a variety of animals. A big thank you to all of our parent volunteers for supporting us on the field trip, and to our incredible PTO for helping fund this special experience.

Looking ahead to next week, enrollment for the upcoming school year will open. If your child is currently enrolled in CISD, there is no need to re-enroll for the next year. However, if you know of any families moving into the area or those with incoming kindergarten or Pre-K students, enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year will begin on April 7th.

CISD will also host a Registration Fair on April 11th. This fun, family-friendly event is designed to welcome new CISD families and provide a one-stop shop for registration. Please note that attendance is not required to complete enrollment. All registration information can be found on the CISD website: https://www.conroeisd.net/page/enrollment-transfers

Student Spotlight

Student Spotlight is a dedicated section in The Hines Herald that celebrates the amazing achievements, acts of kindness, talents, and positive contributions of our Huskies both inside and outside of school.

This space recognizes students who are reaching personal goals, excelling in academics, athletics, or the arts, serving others, or making a meaningful difference in our community. Our students are accomplishing incredible things, and Student Spotlight is one way we proudly share and celebrate those moments.

We encourage families to submit their child’s accomplishments so we can continue highlighting and honoring the many ways our Huskies shine. We look forward to featuring more of these inspiring stories!
