Hazel Owens Elementary

We are so thankful for our students, staff, and families and all that they've accomplished so far this year. Virtual Convocation this morning was so much fun to spotlight our students meeting and exceeding goals. Students are celebrated for academics, character traits, attendance, honor roll, and so much more. It is so exciting to see their growth!

Have you ever wondered why we call it convocation? I did when I first heard about it. When a large group of eagles comes together, it is called an eagle convocation; who knew?

Let's continue to set goals for this third six weeks and conquer them. There is no limit to what our eagles can accomplish when they set their minds to it!

Sincerely,

Rachel Sherman
