✅ Student schedules were released on August 14 in Powerschool. If you have any questions or are in need of support please reach out guidance counselors Michelle Selby (A-L) or Alison Grant (M-Z).

✅ Please take a quick moment each morning to be sure your child has everything they need for the day — lunch, homework, Chromebook, and more. Thank you for your support and teamwork!

✅ Update MyPowerHub

  • Parents please make sure to update information in the new MyPowerHub if you have not already done so.

☎️ Attendance Line

Phone Number: 855-612-7207

  • Use this line for all absences, late arrivals, and early releases.

  • Follow the prompts to report.

🕑 Early Releases

  • Please call the main office to report by 1:45 PM. This allows the office time to prepare and send a pass to the student.

🚗 Student Pick-Up

  • If the person picking up your child is not listed on the student’s contact list please make sure to: call the WMS Main Office (440-975-3600) and email the name of the person picking up. Only the custodial parent/guardian may call the Safe Arrival line to request an early release, must be notified if a student leaves from the Clinic, and must approve any alternate pick-up—being listed as an emergency contact alone does not grant pick-up permission.

WMS Band Announcements – August 2026

Welcome, Mrs. Logan! We are excited to announce that Mrs. Allison Logan will be joining our band director team! She will be here every other day, alternating her time between North High School and Willowick Middle School. As a veteran band director at the middle school level and a woodwind expert, she will make a fantastic addition to the WMS Band Program.

Important Updates by Grade:

  • 6th Grade: Please do not acquire an instrument until Mr. Tyrrell and Mrs. Logan have met with your student (unless you have already communicated with them over the summer). We will provide information and guidance regarding which instrument to choose and how to acquire it.

  • 7th and 8th Grade: You do not need to bring your instruments to school until Monday, August 24. Please note that you may only store your instrument at school if you have a combination lock.

Lock Requirements: All band students will need a combination lock by Monday, August 31.

  • Keyed locks will not be permitted.

  • Students who share a school instrument with someone else may not need to get a lock; please verify this with Mr. Tyrrell or Mrs. Logan.

Equipment & Rentals: Please note that all instruments, accessories, and books needed for band this year can be purchased through Rettig Music. All orders are delivered to the school weekly for the convenience of our families and students. This partnership provides the quality equipment and repair services of an exceptional music store without you ever having to leave your home.

You can contact Rettig Music at rettigmusic.com or by phone at 440-808-0900.
