The Call

I hope this message finds you refreshed and rejuvenated after a wonderful spring break. As we dive back into our school routines, I wanted to take a moment to welcome everyone back and provide some important updates and reminders.

First and foremost, it's that time of the year again when our students gear up for state testing (see schedule below). To ensure our students feel confident and prepared, we encourage them to utilize effective testing strategies that we've been practicing throughout the year. Remind them to stay calm, pace themselves, and carefully read each question.

Additionally, I'd like to extend a warm invitation to all parents to contribute snacks for their child's classroom during the testing period. Providing nutritious and energizing snacks can greatly help our students maintain focus and stamina during this time. Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated.

This month, we also recognize Autism Awareness. Stay tuned for our week of recognition, where we will raise awareness about autism acceptance and promote inclusion and connectedness for individuals with autism.

On another note, we're in the process of preparing our budget for the upcoming school year, SY 25. Stay tuned for details regarding a call meeting where we will discuss and gather input on budget priorities. Your involvement in this process is invaluable, as it directly impacts the resources and opportunities available to our students.

Lastly, a friendly reminder that elective registration for students in grades 5, 6, and 7 must be completed by April 5th. Please ensure that your child's registration is submitted promptly to secure their desired electives for the upcoming academic year.
