Joke of the Week

Why are ghosts such bad liars in October?

Because you can see right through them!

Quote read by: Kayzie Maylin

Jesse Jackson once said, “The only time you should look down at someone, is when you are helping them up.”

Being a Gator means lifting others up, showing kindness, including everyone, and encouraging those who are struggling. Remember, true strength isn’t about putting others down—it’s about helping them rise!

Your challenge today, Gators: Be kind, lend a hand, and be the reason someone smiles!

Let’s show our Gator pride by lifting each other up! 🐊💚

As we celebrate the final week of Italian American Heritage Month, let’s take a moment to recognize and appreciate the rich culture, traditions, and contributions of Italian Americans. From delicious foods and family traditions to art, music, science, and community leadership, Italian Americans have made a lasting impact on our country.

This month is a wonderful reminder that our differences make our community stronger and that learning about one another’s cultures helps us grow in understanding, respect, and appreciation. Let’s finish the month by celebrating the many cultures that make our Gator Family so special!

This week, Marsh Gators are celebrating Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign that encourages students to make healthy, safe, and drug-free choices! It’s a great time to think about the decisions we make every day and how they impact our health, friendships, and future.

Remember, being a Gator means taking care of yourself, looking out for others, and making choices that help you succeed. You have the power to stand strong, be a positive influence, and say NO to drugs and other harmful substances.

Let’s show our Gator pride by making healthy choices, supporting one another, and building a bright future!

Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe. Stay Drug-Free, Gators!

Get ready to show off your Halloween spirit, Gators this Friday, October 30th.

Please remember that all costumes must be school appropriate and allow you to participate safely in all classes and activities.

A few important reminders:

🚫 No face masks that cover your face.
🚫 No weapons or costume accessories that resemble weapons.
🚫 No gore, blood, or overly graphic costumes.
🚫 Please avoid inflatable costumes, as they do not work well in our classroom setting and can make it difficult to move around.

Let's keep it fun, safe, and comfortable for everyone while showing off our Halloween creativity! We can't wait to see our Gators celebrate in style!

Mrs. Bamford’s advisory is currently in the lead with an impressive 98.29% attendance rate! Way to show up and represent the Gator Way!

But don’t count anyone out just yet! There’s still time for the leaderboard to change, and every student makes a difference. Make sure you’re at school every day, on time, and ready to learn. Encourage your classmates to do the same because every single day counts!

Which advisory will earn the Doughnut Party?

Let’s finish October strong, Gators! Show your Gator pride, be responsible, and MAKE THIS FINAL WEEK COUNT!
