We are looking forward to meeting you! If you have an incoming Kinder student who has not been registered to attend school, please register the student online here. Our Kinder teaching team will be performing Kinder evaluations by appointment for our registered Kinder students on Friday, August 1. Kinder evaluation appointments can be made by phoning Donna @ 512-533-7584.
At the time of your evaluation appointment, please come directly to our school entrance #5. You are welcome to park on our front parking lot or the parking lot on Verbena Parkway. Door #5 is marked on the map shown below.
The Kinder Playdate sponsored by our fabulous PTO will be on the Kindergarten playground from 9 to 10 am. The Kinder playground is also marked on the map. No worries about getting lost! Just look for the kids having fun!
WCHE School Supply Lists
We have lists of our school supplies for 2025-2026 so that you can purchase the supplies on your own from any source convenient to you.
If you have a concern about the affordability of school supplies, please feel free to reach out to our School Counselor. We often have a limited supply of kits available, and our Counselor will be happy to discuss this with you.

Returning Student Verification
Due August 1
Dear Lake Travis ISD Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to announce the opening of Returning Student Verification for the 2025-2026 school year. This process is required to be completed for all students who will be returning for the 2025-2026 school year. If your child will not be returning to Lake Travis ISD for the 2025-2026 school year, please contact your campus registrar and submit the appropriate withdrawal form.
To complete the Returning Student Verification process, the parent/guardian listed as the primary parent in Skyward should log into Skyward Family Access and click on the “Returning Student Verification 2025-2026” tile (refer to image below).
Please note, you will be required to verify and update information on your student, family, and residency. Current proof of residency documentation (fully executed lease agreement, signed closing documents, most recent property tax statement, mortgage statement, or property deed in parent's/guardian’s name), AND a current utility bill (water, electricity, or gas with parent's/guardian’s name) are a required portion of the online form.
While returning students are automatically enrolled for the coming school year, student information must be verified and/or updated annually. Therefore, the primary parent/guardian must complete the verification process for each child before August 1, 2025.
Once you have submitted the online form, the tile will no longer be available in Skyward Family Access under the student’s profile. You can view the online forms that have been submitted by navigating to 1. Main Menu > 2. Online Forms > 3. My Online Forms History (refer to image below).
The completion of this form assists your campus with planning for the 2025-2026 school year. We appreciate your participation!
Sincerely,
Marco Alvarado
Executive Director for Communications & Community Relations
For new-to-WCHE Tigers Only
Returning Tigers' input forms that were submitted in the past have been used to place them in their classes for 2025-2026. Our parent input form remains open, however, so that parents of students who are just now enrolling to attend WCHE can also provide us with input. We appreciate input about new-to-WCHE students that might be helpful so that we can place our newest Tigers in classes where they will be comfortable and successful.
We hope to make classroom assignments that will maximize the opportunity for your child’s success. If you have information you would like to have considered in your child’s placement, please complete and submit this form. Please limit your input to the way your child learns and any information we should consider.
Did you know?
Missing 10% of learning time, about 2 days each month, over the course of a school year can make it harder to
- gain early reading and math skills
- build relationships
- develop good attendance habits.
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in elementary so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day, is important.
As we look ahead to the next school year please keep in mind our long weekends/student holidays.
Long weekends/Student Holidays for 2025-2026
August 30 - September 1
September 20 - September 22
October 10 - October 13
November 22 - November 30
December 20 - January 6
January 17 - January 19
February 12 - February 16
March 13 - March 22
April 3 - April 5.
LTISD Bus Transportation
Returning Students WITH Prior Service
All students who received transportation services this past spring (January 2025 to May 2025) do not need to re-register for the 2025-2026 school year. Your child's ridership will be assigned according to the established routes from last year. However, if you have recently moved, you will need to update your contact information in Skyward Family Access using the "Address Change" tile. This form must be reviewed and verified by the campus registrar before any changes are accepted.
Returning Students WITHOUT Prior Service
Returning students who did not utilize transportation this past spring will need to register for services for the 2025-2026 school year. The form is available in Skyward Family Access and includes a simple checkbox asking if transportation services are needed for the student.
Newly Enrolled Students
Students new to the district who have completed enrollment in Skyward Family Access for the 2025-2026 school year and have elected for transportation services as a part of that process do not need to re-register. Please note, the form can be completed and resubmitted multiple times, so it is normal for parents to still see the Bus Registration tile in Skyward Family Access.
Route Assignments, Updates, and Activation Timelines
Ridership will be assigned according to the routes established in the spring of 2025. For all students who utilized transportation services this past spring and for new registrations entered by July 31, 2025, route assignments will be posted by August 6, 2025 in SMART tag and at Infofinder. Please allow three to five business days to obtain route assignments for any new registrations requested after July 31.
If your child is absent on the first day of school, please contact your campus registrar to establish enrollment and a start date. Transportation routing will be reactivated once your child is present at school during official attendance time. Please allow three business days for this to occur.
- School bus rules are available on our district website on the Transportation page.
- All students will be issued a complimentary Smart Tag badge to start the school year. Replacement badges are available at your campus office for a fee. Smart Tag badges from the last school year will work for this school year.
- Middle school campuses do not use Smart Tag for dismissal purposes. Students are responsible for getting to their location on their own with adult supervision in each area.
Water Bottles Highly Recommended!
We encourage you to send your child(ren) to school with a personal water bottle.
We have a total of eight water bottle filling stations on campus.
Please send your child with a refillable water bottle labeled with first and last name to ensure our students stay refreshed and hydrated. These bottles will be sent home daily to be cleaned and sanitized at home.

What’s NEW in Food & Nutrition Services (FANS)
For the 2025-2026 school year, elementary school breakfast and lunch meals will increase to $1.95 and $3.35 respectively. For more information, please visit our Menus & Meal Prices webpage.
We’ve updated our online menu platform! You can now find school menus, nutrition facts, and allergen information on My School Menus.
To help reduce food waste and promote sustainability, students will now self-serve bulk fruits and vegetables in the café.
Free and Reduced Price Meals
Households can access Free & Reduced Meal Program applications online starting August 1, 2025. Information about the program and applications are located on our website at Free and Reduced Meal Program.
Households must complete a new Free & Reduced Meal Program application each school year to ensure continuation of benefits.
Annually, a small sample of applications will be randomly selected for income verification. Notice of verification selection and instructions will be sent to randomly selected households in late Fall.
For SY 2025-2026, students who qualify for reduced-price meals will receive breakfast and lunch meals at zero cost.
To receive meal benefits, students must select a complete (or full) meal.
Please refer to the Complete/Full Meal Information tab on our website for more information on how to select a complete (or full) meal.
Lunch Accounts
To add funds to your student’s meal account, MySchoolBucks will be available starting August 1, 2025. The MySchoolBucks service charge is $3.50 for all credit card transactions and $2.75 for all electronic checking account transactions. There is a $240.00 maximum deposit per transaction. Please visit MySchoolBucks for more information.
Free prepayments are accepted via cash or check in all FANS cafes. Checks should be made out to LTISD FANS. For proper account credit, cash or check prepayments must be in a labelled envelope with the student ID# and full name.
Deposits to accounts made in person will be available for use immediately. Deposits made via MySchoolBucks, including deposits that are established via the MySchoolBucks auto-replenish service, could take up to 24hours to process.
You may sign up for MySchoolBucks or download the free app to make payments, view transaction history, and utilize other features.
Students will not be allowed to purchase snacks or a la carte items (anything besides a CLASSIC meal) without a positive balance on their meal account.
If you would like to limit purchases on your student’s meal account, Lunch Account Restriction Forms are available on the Food & Nutrition Service webpage.
Lunch account restrictions roll over from year to year. If your child already has restrictions in place, there’s no need to submit a new request unless you want to make a change. To modify or remove restrictions, please contact your campus cafeteria manager.

Parking for Visitors
Please be a good neighbor to our families whose homes are near our campus.
Please park in our parking lots, when possible. If the parking lots are full, please park along curbing on pavement. Please avoid parking on landscaped medians as there are irrigation systems buried there. Please do not park in front of neighborhood mailboxes.
Thanks for your help!
Important Things to do @ Meet the Teacher
- If your child(ren) are new to our school, have his/her/their photos made at one of our photo stations in the Library.
- Unless you preordered supplies through schoolkidz by May 31, bring your school supplies with you. If you preordered supplies, verify that your school supplies are in the classroom.
- Consider signing up with the teacher as a class homeroom parent.
- Pick up your car rider hang tags from the classroom.
- See Nurse Kate in the Clinic concerning any medication that your child(ren) will need at school.
- Bring your photo ID to the Receptionist during Meet the Teacher to complete your security check-in for the first day of school. Parents/guardians who complete security check-in will receive a wrist band to wear into the building on the first day of school. Parents wearing our wrist band August 13 may escort their child(ren) into the school without it being necessary to obtain a security badge at Reception. Anyone without the wrist band/prior security check-in must bring a photo ID to the first day of school and check in at the Front Desk in Reception.
- Stop by the PTO desk to join our PTO. Tiger Spirit gear will be available for purchase.
- Visit with our Tiger Dads about joining their team.
- Visit with our cafeteria staff, bus transportation staff, and more!
Important Things to do by First Day of School
Register in SMART Tag's parent portal and verify that the dismissal information shown there for your Tiger(s) is correct for the first day of school and that the default dismissal (the usual way home) is correct. For example, if your Tiger will usually ride the school bus home each day but you will pick him/her up by car on the first day of school, the default dismissal for your Tiger would be BUS RIDER and the dismissal change (exception) for August 13 would be CAR RIDER.
No need to email dismissal instructions to teachers. No need to telephone the front desk. Simply enter dismissal instructions in SMART Tag at least one hour prior to dismissal time, and we will know how your Tiger(s) will go home that day.
Welcome to the 1st Day of School, Tigers!
