Principal's Message

Dear Van Wert Families,

We are looking forward to an exciting and event-filled week at our school! With our Georgia Milestones Pep Rally, report cards going home, Special Olympics, and a visit from Kona Ice, there are many opportunities to celebrate our students and their hard work.

Our Milestones Pep Rally will help build confidence and excitement as students prepare for upcoming state assessments. We encourage you to support your child by reinforcing the importance of doing their best and approaching testing with a positive mindset. Testing begins on Tuesday, April 28th.

Report cards will be sent home this Wednesday. Please take time to review your child’s progress and reach out to their teacher with any questions or to discuss ways to continue supporting their growth.

We are especially proud to host our Special Olympics event on Friday, which highlights the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of our students. This is always a meaningful and inspiring experience for our entire school community.

Students will also enjoy a Kona Ice treat during the week as a fun way to celebrate their efforts. We appreciate your support in helping students come to school ready to learn and follow school expectations during these exciting activities.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to a wonderful week celebrating our students!

Warm regards,

Will Zwingmann, Ed.S.

Principal
