NOTE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Titus Family,
What a fun and exciting week it has been at Titus! I had the opportunity to join Mrs. Gillen’s morning meeting and was so impressed by how engaged, focused, and ready to learn our students were. I also visited Ms. Spohn’s math lesson, where students were practicing place value concepts and double-digit addition. It was wonderful to hear students confidently explain their thinking and reasoning as they solved problems and shared their strategies.
The highlight of the week was our Run for Funds celebration! Thanks to the incredible generosity and hard work of our Titus community, we raised an amazing $32,000. To celebrate this outstanding achievement, former Assistant Principal Mr. Filson returned as our mystery guest and slimed me in front of the school! It was a memorable and fun-filled way to reward our students for their dedication and fundraising efforts. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success! I hope everyone has a fun filled weekend (I will be kicking mine off by washing the slime out of my hair!) See everyone on Monday!
Your Principal,
Erin Walter

TITUS SCHOOL DAY
START OF THE SCHOOL DAY ...
We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.
Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.
The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.
Absences and Appointments
Dismissal Change Procedure
End-of-Day Dismissal Change Procedure:
If your student must go home a different way than usual, please follow these steps to ensure your student dismisses the correct way:
✅Email your student’s teacher and copy the entire office staff, stating your student’s name and the end-of-day dismissal change:
- [teacher's email]@cbsd.org
✅If a student is going home with another family, the parents of both families must email or call the office, providing consent.
✅Copying the entire office staff assures the dismissal change is included in end-of-day dismissal announcements and is a backup if the teacher or any office staff are absent.
✅Please submit changes as early as possible. Changes cannot be accepted after 2:50PM.
Important Information from School Health Office
VOLUNTEERS
DON'T FORGET CLEARANCES....
Titus requires all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.
Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District requires the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Each volunteer must create an individual Raptor account, and all required clearances must be submitted with your application. Approved volunteers must check in at the office with photo ID, such as a driver's license, when volunteering.
Additional information and steps on how to complete your clearances and to register to be a volunteer can be found on our district website.

First Submission Deadline is Oct. 15
During the 2026–27 school year, CBSD invites students to create original artwork for display on district laptops and ClearTouch panels with a focus on looking ahead with optimism, creativity, and purpose. Students are asked to think about what makes our schools special today and what is possible for tomorrow, and to capture the people, places, ideas, and experiences that inspire this year's districtwide theme “Move Forward. Imagine More." Entries are being accepted for the October contest until Oct. 15. Read more about how to enter.

E-Bike Laws Provided by the CB Regional Police Department
E-Bike Laws Provided by the CB Regional Police Department
CBSD wishes to remind families and students of the importance of obeying e-bike laws for the safety of all CB residents. The Central Bucks Regional Police Department has provided the district with this flyer to stress what defines a street legal e-bike and when an e-bike is not street legal. To be street legal, an e-bike must have working pedals, be limited to a maximum assisted speed of 20 mph, and the rider must be at least 16-years-old. E-dirt bikes, electric or gas-powered "mini-rides" with seats, and off-road-only bikes and scooters are not street legal. We thank our families and students for following these laws.
