Welcome back to the start of an exciting 2025! I hope that you had a restful and joyful holiday break. As we step into this new year, I am filled with anticipation for all the wonderful things our teachers and students will accomplish together.

This year, we have focused on the theme of “Growing 1% Better Every Day.” Whether it's in the classroom, through our social-emotional growth, or in our everyday interactions, we are proud to see significant progress in our students. This ongoing growth is reflected in both academic achievements and the development of key social and emotional skills. It's truly inspiring to witness the positive changes happening across our WCHE community.

One of the things I am particularly excited about is the upcoming Middle of the Year assessments. Our students will begin their assessments next week, and I look forward to seeing how much progress they have made so far. These assessments provide valuable insight into their academic journey, and we are eager to celebrate their growth.

Please be sure to check your teacher’s newsletters for important details about the assessment dates and times. Teachers will be sharing results with parents in the first week of February. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect and discuss how we can continue supporting your child's growth.
