PreK - 10/9 & 16
PreK Update - October 9 and October 16, 2025
In Every Season
Dear families,
Fall — one of my most favorite seasons! In our Pre-K program, we love learning about each of the four seasons and noticing the special changes that mark them. The colors, the weather, and even the foods we enjoy all remind us that God created a world that moves in beautiful rhythms and patterns.
The Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” We’ve all experienced both joyful and challenging seasons in life. Maybe you’re in the infant season—caring for a baby around the clock—or perhaps you’re in the -challenges at work- season. Whatever season you find yourself in, we can rest in knowing that God is faithful and will carry us through each one.
This month in Pre-K, we’ve been exploring the theme of Fall—learning about Fall Changes, Apples, and soon Pumpkins! The children have loved observing how the world around them transforms as the air gets cooler and the leaves begin to change.
A special thank-you to Heather Petersen and Kathy Brandstetter, two Maranatha families who donated apples from their very own trees for our apple taste test! The children loved sampling the different kinds of apples and discovering that God even made fruit in so many unique varieties.
As we continue through this beautiful Fall season, may we each pause to notice God’s handiwork and remember that every season—both in nature and in life—has its purpose.
