PS 107 2025 Parent Workshop Series

During the session on February 10th, Anna will provide information about The Science of Reading, an overview of Wit & Wisdom (the name for our current English Language Arts Curriculum), and answer any questions you might have about the curriculum and/or how to support your child at home.

Anna Schidlovsky is a Senior Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters. Teaching Matters is a non-profit organization that works with schools to enrich professional learning for educators that is evidence-based, culturally responsive, and proven to increase teacher effectiveness. As a result, more students have access to excellent teaching.

Anna has been developing teachers at PS107 for 2 years by facilitating professional development workshops, modeling best practices and using an evidence-based coaching cycle. Anna’s main focus has been the implementation of the Wit & Wisdom Literacy and Writing curriculum. Anna is very passionate about empowering teachers with the skills and tools to provide high quality literacy instruction to all students. Prior to joining Teaching Matters, Anna worked as a Teacher, Grade Team Leader, Instructional Coach and an Assistant Principal in charter schools in Massachusetts and New York.
