Principal's Corner
Dear BFPP Families,
We are still holding strong onto this school year! It is always an amazing process and experience to be fully present and here in the current flow of the classes and community events, all so full of celebration and gratitude, and at the same time tempering all of the excitement and energy around getting ready for next year. There will be lots of information coming your way, especially about registration for Enrichment Classes and other opportunities in our newsletters. Next week, the newsletter on the 24th will have the Enrichment Class Schedule so be on the lookout! Please read thoroughly!
And with that, happy reading!
Warmly,

BFPP Donations
Hey, looking for a way to make a difference and want to donate to BFPP? We’ve worked with the Bellingham Schools Foundation to make it easier than ever!
You can make a donation to BFPP online here.
Please feel free to share with family or friends. Donated funds stay at BFPP and are used for a variety of purposes. For example, in the next few weeks collected money is going to support field trips, 8th Grade Celebration, a few pizza parties, and class projects. Every bit helps -thanks for considering!
Calling All Club Leaders!
We are working on the enrichment schedule and would love to include clubs! This will help advertise what will be available and also help designate times and locations. If you know what you will be offering next year please contact Kate to get that information on the schedule.
Questions for Mayor Lund
The 3-5 Experience Class will be meeting with Bellingham's mayor on June 4th. We'd love to bring Mayor Lund questions about Bellingham from the BFPP community. Please write your questions on the paper next to the Collaborator Room or email them to Teacher Meredith at meredith.attar@bellinghamschools.org. Thank you!

Many Hands Make Light Work
There is a board near Sheri’s desk with housekeeping tasks. When you have the chance, we hope you'll swing by and pick one. These tasks vary in size and duration, can be done individually or collectively, and will make a big difference! This is a bit of a pilot run and if it goes well we will continue into next year. Check the board regularly….and THANK YOU!
LEO (Learning Experience Online) Reminder & Updates:
All K-8 "online workbooks" close on 6/3/2024. This means Imagine Edgenuity coursework will not be accessible after 6/3/2024. 6/2/2024 is the last day to work in online Imagine Edgenuity workbooks. This timeline allows teachers to close the online workbooks for the Summer. This also allows students time to complete additional components of their learning plans and engage in all of the fun activities happening around BFPP prior to our Summer break!
Please reach out to your Learning Plan Partner or brooke.wertz@bellinghamschools.org with any questions.
BFPP Science Fair ~ This Monday!
