Family Conferences
Dear Families,
Our fall parent-teacher conferences will take place after school on Wednesday, October 22, and during the day on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, celebrate progress, and discuss how we can work together to support your child’s growth and success. Your participation is important and helps strengthen the partnership between home and school.
This fall, we are using PickaTime for scheduling. Please use this link to sign up for individual appointments with your child’s interdisciplinary team teachers and World Language teachers. If you need help signing up, please refer to this guide.
Additionally, other ALPHA team teachers and our learning specialists will be available to meet with families during conferences. These meetings will follow a more informal, open-house format. You are welcome to visit any of your child’s ALPHA classes before or after your scheduled conferences with their team teachers.
Students should attend conferences with their parents or guardians.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wood
Principal

Food Drive
Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School
Each year, on the third weekend in October, Vermont non-profit With Love From Vermont hosts a Feed My Starving Children MobilePack at AD Lawton. Since 2012, WLFV and local volunteers have packed and shipped over 1.4 million life-saving meals to starving children overseas and collected tons of non-perishable goods for local families.
This year, ADL and WLFV are partnering to increase the amount of non-perishable goods collected for local food shelves. During the week leading up to the MobilePack event, October 13 – 17, 2025, ADL students are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and household items. There will be boxes in the front hallway to collect the goods.
