Disenrollment, Medication Pick Up and Sunscreen rules

It is that time of year again when we are looking ahead to the 2026-2027 school year.

Are you moving? We'd love to hear from you! If you are planning on moving or attending a different elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year, please contact Shelley Sukenik in our main office at 262-789-6550 or shelley.sukenik@nbexcellence.org. Please also complete this withdrawal form (link).

SUNSCREEN AND BUG SPRAY

This form must be completed if you want your student to have sunscreen or bug spray at school. Sunscreen and bug spray must be applied by an adult at school and kept by staff. It cannot be carried or applied by students.

Rock'n Reagan Day (June 5th) Please put sunscreen on your students before school!

MEDICATION PICK UP

All health room medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be picked up in the office by a parent or designated adult by the last day of school. Medication not picked up will be disposed of - it is not held over the summer. If your student will be attending summer school at Reagan this summer, please contact the office.

DISTRICT MEDICAL FORMS

Check out this link for medical forms, health care forms and fact sheets. If your student has a food allergy, make sure you have an Eating & Feeding Form filled out so the kitchen is aware of your student's allergies.

{REPEAT FOR REAGAN-- BUT STILL IMPORTANT!} {REPEAT FOR REAGAN-- BUT STILL IMPORTANT!}

Ticks.

It's tick season in Wisconsin, and we have had reports of parents finding a tick on their child after school. As a result, we have instructed our staff to do their best to keep students from areas with tall grass, bushes, and trees where ticks frequently can be found, for both learning experiences and at recess.

As students spend time outside this spring during and after the school day, we encourage you to check them (or have them check themselves) for ticks. Ticks like to hide in between toes, in belly buttons, on one's scalp, etc.

Though teachers are aware of this issue, please know that staff are only able to remove a tick if it is easily brushed off. If that's not possible, a parent will be notified.

2026-2027 Family Input Form - due tonight

Dear K4-5 Eagle Families,

It is that time of year again when we begin to look ahead to next year. Creating class lists is a challenging task. We look at individual academic needs, group dynamics, gender breakdowns, behavior needs, emotional supports, and more!

If you feel that there is specific information you would like us to be aware of when deciding class placement of your child for next year, please fill out this form. This form is OPTIONAL. We take the placement process very seriously and reflect on a variety of factors when deciding the best placement for students. However, this is NOT an opportunity to request specific teachers. Please also know that your input will be reviewed, but we cannot guarantee that all input will be able to be acted upon.

Staff will determine the best placement for all students. We will create initial drafts in May that will be finalized and shared with families in August.

In order for your input to be considered, this form must be completed by Friday, May 1, 2026. If you are interested in sharing input for multiple children, please fill out a separate form for each child.

Thank you for your continued home support of Ronald Reagan!

Yours In Learning,
Angela Patterson, principal
Matt Stich, associate principal

Fine Arts Night for Kindergarten

Dear Reagan Kindergarten Families,

Wednesday, May 6th Ronald Reagan Kindergarteners will present their Fine Arts Night. Students will present “We’re Making Music” in the gym beginning at 6:30pm. Doors to the gym will open at 6pm. All kindergarten students should report to the library at 6:15pm that evening.

In addition to the musical program that evening, student artwork will be on display in the hallways around the art room. Please stop by before or after the performance to view your child’s artwork.

Because performance and presentation are an important part of the fine arts curriculum, all students are expected to participate. If your child will not be able to participate, please contact Mrs. Schilling or Mr. Winders no later than Mon., April 13th.

All students should wear dress clothes, please.

Questions? Please contact Mrs. Schilling at Christina.Schilling@nbexcellence.org or Mr. Winders at Nicholas.Winders@nbexcellence.org.

We look forward to sharing the students’ performance with you!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Schilling and Mr. Winders
