MMS Office Hours MMS Office Hours

Mountain View Middle School office hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm.

We realize there are many reasons students may be on school grounds outside of office hours and encourage them to participate in the many extra curricular activities as well as benefiting from opportunities to receive extra help or make-up tests.

Please continue to communicate arrangements with your student for pickup from the school.

It's time to check lost and found for any items students are missing.

All items will be donated after Friday, April 4th.

Perfumes, Colognes, and Scented Products Perfumes, Colognes, and Scented Products

There are many people who experience unpleasant physical effects from scented products and a growing number of people who suffer more severe reactions to these types of products and chemicals.

Some people may report mild irritation while others are incapacitated and/or must give up many 'normal' activities in order to avoid exposure (such as going to public places).

We are asking students and staff to refrain from wearing strongly scented products to help others who suffer from sensitivities. Please remind your students that they should not spray or use scented products in the building.

Family Preview for Health Curriculum Spring 2024 Family Preview for Health Curriculum Spring 2024

Parent Review Night

Washington State law requires that every student receives HIV/AIDs prevention education in grades 5 through 12. Because this unit covers sensitive topics, Washington State law and SBLSD board policy require that parents/families are provided the opportunity to preview these lessons.

The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District (SBLSD) is hosting a curriculum night for families to preview the HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum for students enrolled in the following:

  • 6th and 7th grade students (HIV/AIDS),

  • 2nd semester 8th grade Skills for Life (HIV/AIDS) and

  • 9th grade Health classes (Health content), and

  • Applicable 10th through 12th grade classes (HIV/AIDS).

The Curriculum will be available for preview. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to understand the health content for grades 6-12, preview teaching materials and ask questions about the resources used in the classroom.
