THANK YOU VOTERS!
Levies
Dear Coupeville Community,
I am excited to share that both levies on the February 10 ballot have been approved for renewal by voters. Thank you for your continued support of our students and schools.
Renewed funding from these levies will allow the district to continue providing additional classroom staff, advanced courses, athletics and extracurricular activities, career and technical education, and updated technology in the classroom. This funding will also be used to make some safety and security updates in our schools and explore the restoration of some programs and positions that have had to be reduced in recent years.
Under the leadership of our school board, a lot of planning went into developing these levies with community feedback and students at the center of all our decision making. We believe this funding will support our students’ needs now and into the future.
I want to thank everyone in the community who took time to learn about these levies and what they mean for our schools. Our Friends of Coupeville Schools volunteers who spent hours getting out the vote and sharing information about these levies also deserve a special thanks. It takes the whole community to support our students and I am so grateful to be a part of Coupeville.
We remain committed to transparent decision making and will keep the community informed as we move forward.
