🐵 JUNGLE BOOK 🦁
What an absolutely spectacular performance of "Jungle Book Kids" we witnessed! I couldn't be more proud of our talented scholars who brought this beloved classic to vibrant life on our stage.
Since November 2024, these dedicated students have poured their hearts into learning lines, mastering staging directions, and creating the beautiful props that transformed our stage into a jungle. Their commitment and growth throughout this process have been truly remarkable to witness.
The packed house and standing ovation were well-deserved recognition of their tremendous effort and talent. We're also thrilled to share that our production received recognition and rave reviews in the Greenwich Times! This community recognition highlights the exceptional quality of our students' performance and the dedication of everyone involved.
Moments like these remind us of the power of arts education and its ability to build confidence, teamwork, and creative expression in our students.
This magical production would not have been possible without the generous support of the Greenwich Alliance, whose grant funding made this opportunity available to our students. We extend our deepest gratitude for their continued investment in arts education at Julian Curtiss.
Special thanks must also go to our incredible staff members who guided this journey: Mrs. Wilshaw, Mrs. Grandinetti, Mr. Hohl, and Mr. Ehlinger. Their expertise, patience, and dedication have given our students an experience they will cherish for years to come. We also deeply appreciate all the parent volunteers who contributed countless hours behind the scenes - from costume assistance to set construction and everything in between.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this outstanding production! It was truly a shining moment for our school community.

Attention ALL JC Parents:
Book of the Month 📖
One Wish: Fatima al-Fihri and the World's Oldest University
March Book of the Month: One Wish: Fatima al-Fihri and the World's Oldest University
This month, we are excited to share One Wish by M.O. Yuksel, a beautifully told and illustrated story about Fatima al-Fihri, the remarkable woman who founded the world's first university over 1,000 years ago. Her story is one of perseverance, education, and the power of dreams—perfect for inspiring our students to believe in their ability to make a difference.
We selected this book to celebrate International Women’s Month, the spirit of Ramadan, and, most importantly, the idea that knowledge is a gift meant to be shared. Fatima’s journey reminds us that learning has no boundaries, and with determination, we can all shape a better future.
This award-winning book has been recognized as:
