Weekly Update 4-10

April 10, 2026

Dear Oak Brook Families,

This week is Assistant Principal Recognition Week. Mrs. Terbrock is a superb Assistant Principal working very hard each day to help meet the needs of our students and teachers. If you would like to do so, please drop her a note of appreciation to let her know we are so thankful for her here at Oak Brook.

Just a reminder, Wednesday, April 15 is a half day. School dismisses at 11:35.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Katie & Chris

The Parkway All-District Art Show will be held at the end of this month at Queeny Park. Please join us on Saturday, April 25, or Sunday, April 26, from 12:00–4:00 p.m. each day.

Artwork from students in preschool through 12th grade, representing all Parkway schools, will be on display. If your child has a piece featured in the show, Dr. McNealy will send a note home during the week of April 13—please be sure to check backpacks.

All are welcome to attend this celebration of student creativity! If you have any questions, please contact cmcnealy@parkwayschools.net.

There is an app that will expedite the check-in process when you visit Oak Brook. You fill out all of your information ahead of time in the app and it creates a QR code for the school to scan. Once you arrive at Oak Brook, you pull up the app and access the code, we scan it and then you are checked in. Directions for downloading and entering your information into the app may be found below.
