We just kicked off the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge last Friday and within a week we met our goal!! Don't worry- there is still time to change and save lives! Sign up today and earn your wristband!

Through Finn’s Mission, you’ll learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR and how to recognize a stroke. Here are the next steps to take today and be one of the first to complete your mission:

1. Sign Up at http://www2.heart.org/goto/wfcje or use the QR code and download the free “AHA Schools” app.

2. Raise funds to help kids with special hearts and start earning thank-you gifts.

3. Complete Finn’s Mission: Learn Hands-Only CPR, earn your lifesavers cape and be entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!

State testing begins next week and will continue during May. Students in grades 3,4 and 5 will take the SBAC test in ELA and Math. Additionally, students in grade 4 will take the Social Studies test and students in grade 5 will take a Social Studies & Science test. Please be sure that your child:

• Gets a good night's sleep the night before testing
• Is on time arriving at school
• Does not leave for an early dismissal unless it is an emergency
• Does not wear a smart watch (such as an Apple Watch) on testing days (Cell phones are not be permitted in classrooms either)
• Brings earbuds or headphones (they may not be wireless)
• Is ready to give their very best to show off all of their knowledge!
