Week of October 23rd

Dear 6th Grade Parents and Families,

The first week of the 2nd quarter went very well. We started the week with a reminder of all the Behavior Expectations we have for our 6th graders at SMS. We are going to work together to lessen the amount of disruptions in the classroom, so that everyone can learn and stay focused on the reason why we come to school. If you would like to see the slide show I used, please click HERE.

We are also working on getting students to the classroom on time and getting started right away. Ask your student what the Bell Ringer was for some of their classes today. You will be happy to know that we are using every moment, involving everyone in the class with the Bell Ringer! It's a method that gets our students engaged and ready to learn!

Have a great week Mustangs!

Sincerely,

Mrs. J. Peters
