Have You Noticed?
Teamwork makes the dream work!! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped pass out learning packets Tuesday. It was really great to see you all and catch up on what has been going on in your lives. It was also great to get to see the parents and some students come through the line to get their packets. We saw many smiles and a few tears - mostly smiles.
Together we can, and will!!

5. All staff, please review your emails from Central Services. Pay close attention to the email regarding 'leave'. If you have any questions, please let me know. This applies to certified and non-certified staff.
6. Support Staff Evaluation:
Support Staff
(including custodians, housekeepers, food service operators, instructional assistants, secretaries, bookkeepers, etc.
It is time to begin thinking about how we will evaluate our support staff. Today, an email informed principals that we will NOT do these evaluations virtually. Human Resources has decided that is not the most effective way to convey the performance of our support staff. Moving forward: please begin to take notes on the form I will email to you. Keep those forms and IF we return to school, you will review the evaluation with your support staff person and sign-off together. IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR SUPPORT STAFF PERSON AND AN IMPROVEMENT PLAN IS WARRANTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.
ALL SUPPORT STAFF: PLEASE USE THIS FORM TO DO A SELF EVALUATION. SELF REFLECTION IS A GREAT TOOL FOR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH. YOU MAY DISCUSS YOUR EVALUATION WITH THE EVALUATION OF YOUR EVALUATOR TO DISCUSS STRENGTHS AND AREAS OF GROWTH!

7. Staff Support Staff - Letters of Intent we emailed. Please make sure you have responded by Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
8. Certified Staff contracts will be sent April 27th. The return date is May 11. They are working on a way to have everything submitted online. As a reminder, local districts have decided not to allow teachers to switch districts after MAY 11, 2020. If this changes, we will let you know. Schools with vacancies are still interviewing (virtually) during this time. If you have decided to try to transfer, the final date is May 11th. All other moves AFTER May 11 will be made from Central Services.
9. Please be mindful of the number of emails you are sending to parents daily. Some of our parents are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the number of emails they are receiving.
Teacher Survey
The State Department will not be conducting a Teacher Survey this year. We would like you to complete the survey below for our improvement purposes. The survey is anonymous. We would like your honest feedback so that we can be informed as much as possible when moving forward with plans for the 2020-21 school year.
Counselors Corner
Dear Teachers,
WOW!!! This has been, to say the least, a crazy time! We are so glad to have been part of most of your zooms. We have sent out lessons and information for parents and students to let them know how to get in touch with us. We have also contacted some of our students that have been our regular kiddos. However, we need your help to identify students that you have concerns about, but been unable to get in touch with. We will send you a google form for those students. Also below, are some self-help tips and other information you may find useful! Especially, the last one. It is the best coping skill for this time I have found so far! Thank you, Mrs. Blizzard, for sharing! STAY HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND SAFE, Your School Counselors
PLEASE EMAIL YOUR SPECIFIC COUNSELOR IF THERE ARE STUDENTS THAT YOU HAVE HAVE SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL CONCERNS ABOUT BUT HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET IN CONTACT. ALSO, IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE CONTACT YOU HAVE HAD.
PLEASE INVITE US TO ZOOMS AND CLASS MEETINGS TO SAY HI OR IF YOU HAVE OTHER SPECIFIC NEEDS YOU WOULD LIKE US TO ADDRESS!
