  • We look forward to celebrating and honoring the veterans near and dear to our Husky family at our Annual Veterans Day Breakfast on November 11. Sign up to help out.
  • Our next all-member PTA Meeting is coming up on October 29. Join us in the MPR at 9:30 a.m.

Register Now to Get Your Child Started

There are still 14 days left in the Charleston Wrap fall fundraiser! We are currently at 45% of our goal, but with your help, we can make it to 100%! The fundraiser will continue through November 1st, so if you haven’t had a chance to shop yet, there are 3 easy steps to help your child get started:

  1. Register now as a participant at www.registercw.com using our school code (11280). All sales and payments are online; nothing to collect or turn in at school!
  2. Invite your friends and family to support our cause! Share a link to our sale using text and email invitation tools. You can also share your link on social media!
  3. Shop online and help us reach our goal! With over 2,500 gift ideas, there is something for everyone! Items sold will be tracked online for prizes, so no need to turn in prize coupons to teachers.

Contact Kate Kopp if you have any questions. Thank you for your support!

Help Us Honor the Veterans in our Husky Community

Spring Brook is proud to once again celebrate and honor those veterans near and dear to our Husky family at our annual Veterans Day Breakfast. All students are welcome and encouraged to invite the veterans in their families to join together for this inspiring annual breakfast and assembly.

In order to make this event a success, we appreciate the support of volunteers who help with setup the afternoon before, and on the morning of the breakfast. Please visit this sign up link to volunteer and help us this year.

Get Creative While Helping in the Classroom

Do you love art or love to help out in your child's classroom? The PTA is looking for parents to volunteer to teach Art Awareness lessons to your child's class.

We provide everything you need to do the lesson, no experience necessary!

Volunteers pair up and teach the students about well-known artists and their works and then facilitate an art project inspired by the style. All teaching materials, training, and activities are provided for volunteers. The students always enjoy the lessons and will amaze you with their interpretation of the art presented.

Sign up here for ONE spot only. You will self-schedule one lesson with your teacher in the semester you are assigned to.

Thanks for helping keep art flowing through our school!

A Note from Our Community Relations Chair:

The PTA is always looking for new ways to partner with the community to enrich the lives of our students. We expanded our sponsorship program last year and plan to continue these efforts in the 2026-2027 school year.

If your family owns or is connected to a local business and is interested in sponsoring a Spring Brook event, please see the attached letter for more information or reach out to Ellen Mulryan.

Multicultural Day: December 4

Our school is filled with beautiful, diverse cultures, and we want to bring those rich traditions to life for our students! On Friday, December 4, Spring Brook Elementary will be hosting our annual Multicultural Day.

This event is a memorable, hands-on way to introduce our children to unique global traditions, games, clothing, and histories that are deeply meaningful to members of our own community.

To make this day a success, we are looking for four Lead Volunteers to showcase a country or heritage close to their heart.

Who Can Volunteer?

You do not need to be a professional presenter! We are looking for:

  • Parents or family members originally from another country who want to share their heritage.
  • Families who practice cultural traditions passed down through generations.
  • Anyone with family ties to a specific country who wants to share what makes their culture unique and important to them.

🙋‍♀️ How to Sign Up

If you are interested in being one of our four featured country leads, or if you have any questions about what showcasing a country looks like, please reach out to Brea Khalid.

Thank you in advance for helping us create a vibrant, educational, and unforgettable day for our students. We cannot wait to celebrate the wonderful cultures that make Spring Brook so special!
