Principal Introduction
Hello Lakeside families!
My name is Aurelian Sennett and I am the new principal at Lakeside Jr. High. I am incredibly honored to be in this position and grateful to have the opportunity to serve your students in this capacity. I assure you, I will work diligently to ensure that Lakeside continues to be an excellent and safe place for your students to learn and grow. I am entering my ninth year in Springdale School District and eighth year as a school administrator. In the district, I have previously worked at Don Tyson School School of Innovation and Hellstern Middle School. I am passionate about school safety, academic growth and achievement, and ensuring that students are connected and ready for post-secondary success.
Our family calls this community home. My wife serves Northwest Arkansas children as a pediatric physical therapist and our boys attend Springdale schools. We are proudly and actively invested in the future of Springdale.

Assistant Principal Introduction
Hello Lakeside families!
My name is Cassie Marquette, and I am excited to be joining Lakeside Junior High School as an assistant principal. I have served in the Springdale School District for the past 15 years, first at J.O. Kelly Middle School as a 6th grade math teacher and later as an instructional facilitator, followed by seven years as assistant principal at Monitor Elementary School. Prior to moving to Springdale, I also taught in Orlando, Florida. My husband, Michael, and I are proud to call Springdale home. Michael teaches and coaches soccer at J.O. Kelly Middle School, and our three boys attend school in the district as well. As a family, we enjoy spending time with friends, being outdoors, and anything sports related. I look forward to joining the Lakeside community, building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and supporting the school’s continued tradition of excellence for every learner!
