instagrok is a research tool that uses interactive concept maps to research and learn about any topic in any subject. instaGrok presents each topic as an interactive visual interface, allowing the user to quickly grasp important concepts, key facts and relationships. The tool can be used by a teacher to customize research for students or the student can use it to research and take notes sharing the grok with their teacher.

instaGrok's innovative features make learning much more fun and effective:

• Key Facts show important facts about the topic (with links to the original content page)
• Difficulty Slider adjusts the difficulty of the material for easy differentiation of content.
• Quizzes offer fun challenges that reinforce learning and encourage exploration
• Glossary defines important terms.

Instagrok has a free version available in the Edmodo app store. There is a teacher classroom version that offers additional capability for a fee, but the free version offers enough capability to be useful in the classroom. Students can do research, and use all the innovative features for free. Students can share an instagrok link with notes they make. They can also take quizzes to check for understanding and get key vocabulary.
