PTSA Reflections Contest
National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts, thereby enhancing student confidence and success in both the arts and beyond. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a theme developed by students themselves. This year's Reflections theme, "I Belong!", was created by Ben Morgan from the Lewis and Clark Middle School PTSA in Idaho.
Students at Myrtle Grove Middle School are invited to create theme-based artwork in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, or visual arts. This competition encourages students to express themselves through artistic exploration by providing positive recognition for their creative efforts.
Deadline for entries is Monday, November 17
