Dear Beaubien Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Curriculum Night! It was wonderful to see our halls filled with so many families eager to engage with our staff and learn about all the incredible topics, skills, and projects your children will be exploring this year.

Looking ahead, we are excited to share some significant news for our school community regarding the 2027–2028 school year. Beaubien will be expanding its program offerings by adding a Kindergarten Regional Gifted Center (RGC) classroom. To accommodate this expansion, our PreK room will be transitioning to other CPS PreK locations.

While it is bittersweet to bid farewell to our PreK classroom, we are thrilled about the opportunities this growth brings. Establishing a Kindergarten RGC class allows us to offer a continuous K–8 RGC experience for our students, bringing Beaubien’s programming into full alignment with other CPS Regional Gifted Centers across the city.

We are off to a fantastic start this school year, and that momentum is entirely thanks to the dedication of our staff, students, and families. A special thank you goes out to everyone who has already joined the Beaubien PTO. If you have not had a chance to join yet, we strongly encourage you to consider doing so. Beaubien is at its strongest when our community and PTO work hand-in-hand to support our school.

Wednesday, September 16 - Students will come with their classrooms during the day to take their individual photos. There is no need to register/sign up.

1. How do I order pictures?

Proofs will arrive the week of October 7. Orders must be placed by October 13th to receive your orders in November.

2. What if I don't like my pics or if I miss picture day?

Retakes will take place on October 14. More information and how to sign up coming soon!

Picture Day FAQs

After school starting at 2:45pm photographers will be on hand to take SIBLING PHOTOS. An adult must be present with students for Sibling Photos.

1. Do I need to sign up for sibling pictures?
Yes, registration is needed for SIBLING PHOTOS to help ease the process. Please sign up at www.picture-day.com/siblings​​​​​​​

2. Are all siblings welcome?
Yes, all siblings, all ages, all schools are welcome.

3. Where do I need to go for sibling photos?
ADULTS/PARENTS: Please arrive with your students starting at dismissal. Photographers will be in the 3rd floor gym. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Volunteers are Beaubien parents and not employees of Picture Day. Your patience is appreciated.

VOLUNTEERS will be on hand to direct families to the next available photographer. Volunteers will be assisting photographers. Parents, we ask that you monitor your students to protect the delicate photography equipment. Sibling pictures cannot be rescheduled.

Dine Outs are back and we’re kicking it off at a local favorite! Joe’s specializes in a wide variety of options such as pasta, veal, desserts and more! There’s something for everyone.

What is "Bulldog Community Hour?"

Once a month, we all "gather" for Bulldog Community Hour! The purpose of Bulldog Community Hour is bringing students and staff together to prioritize community, build connections, learn and collaborate as one, BIG, Bulldog family!

Our enthusiastic team of 8th Grade Culture & Climate Champions work in tandem with our Culture & Climate Team, to plan and present Social Emotional Learning (SEL) topics, strategies, activities and FUN to build a stronger Beaubien Community!

This dedicated time allows ALL classrooms to connect through shared activities, celebrating our values, and building relationships across grade levels. It has become the "talk of the halls" and has brought many new connections for students of all ages!
