The students are having so much fun learning letters and letter sounds with our puppet, baby echo! We just learned the letter M and N this week. We are half way though the alphabet. We will be learning more writing skills in the upcoming weeks!

This week we made snow people. It was a three step process. On the first day the student cut and glue on the different size circles. The students were learning sizing of sequencing... big, medium and small. Once cutting the circles out they had to glue on the pieces. The following day, the students had fun decorating their snow people with the hat and nose. They also added fun other characteristic to their snow people. Some students did different shape buttons, some on skates or wearing boots. The very last touch was adding snow! We used white paint and our finger to make snowflakes on our picture!

We did lots of sorting and classifying different topics about winter. We went though picture cards to sort which pictures were items and things we did in the winter and not winter. As well what type of clothing we wear and not wear in the winter.
