Happy Friday! We made it!
Huge shout-out to our learners, designers, staff, and administrators for crushing the College Day of Testing! It was a long haul for everyone, but our learners showed up on time, stayed engaged, and gave it their absolute best. Seriously, I'm incredibly proud. If they sleep all weekend, don't be surprised—I know I am!
Get Ready for Homecoming Week!
Next week is Homecoming Week, and our amazing Student Council has been working hard to make it epic. Check out the flyer and be sure to participate in our spirit wear all week long!
We can't wait to see you under those Thursday Night Lights for our annual Kickball Game on Thursday, October 22nd. Kickoff is 6:00 p.m. at RL Anderson Stadium. Bring your families, friends and school spirit!
We will finish next week in style! Our Homecoming Dance is the perfect way to celebrate, with music, snacks, dancing, and games.

COUNSELORS CORNER
Our Father’s Read event will be held this year on Wednesday, October 21 during iStem times in the CUBE. Students can choose this iStem in their FlexTime app.
Mr. Brugger with All Pro Dad will be presenting to the students about his personal college, military, corporate, and non-profit journey. Parents who are interested in getting involved with All Pro Dad can find more information here: https://allprodadchapters.com/chapters/15149?
AP ADVANTAGE
November 3rd our accelerated testers will take the ACT. Accelerated testers are defined as students who complete a STAAR EOC at the Approaches Grade Level or above standard in Algebra I, English II, and/or Biology prior to grade 9. More information to come!
Learners currently enrolled in one or more Advanced Placement (AP) courses. AP Fees will be posted to your child's Skyward account within the next week. To have an AP Exam ordered for your student, full payment must be received by Friday, November 6, 2026.
AP Exam fees are:
$25 per exam for students who are not eligible for free or reduced-price meals
$12 per exam for students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals
Payments may be made online through the Skyward Family Access Fee Management portal. After selecting “Make a Payment,” you will be directed to PayK12 to complete the transaction.
Families may also pay by cash or check through the campus bookkeeper between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on school days.
Please understand that Mansfield ISD cannot order an AP Exam without confirmed payment. Any exam that has not been paid in full by the end of the day on November 6 will not be ordered.
