Each half-term the children can earn reading rewards for reading at home or in our free reading school clubs. In school reading clubs are worth 3 reads each and can be booked via Arbor with the other clubs. There is a reading club on a Wednesday lunchtime too for those who cannot stay after school.

Reading reward levels:

Bronze - 18 reads

Silver - 24 reads

Gold - 36 reads

We would love it if reads could be uploaded to Seesaw or Tapestry ideally as a video so we can hear your reading and get immersed in the book too. If you have any difficulties with this please see a member of your child's teaching team.

We are continuing to talk about our family. Next week we will also be continuing to explore our outdoor area on the field.

• Kixx football coaching with Little Pearls

• We are displaying family photos in our home corner and will be discussing them over this half-term. If you would like to send in any family photos and photos of your house it would be much appreciated.

Please note any new dates are in red

Some of our planned events are shown below. Check diary dates for all up and coming dates.

As we will now all be digging out our winter wardrobes it is a great time to get rid of any that we may have out grown. If your child has any coats, hats, gloves, scarfs or wellies that no longer fit please consider donating them to school. We shall arrange a week where we will put them all out and people can come and take any that would fit their child.

There will also be a Christmas jumper swap in the next few weeks so if your child has a Christmas jumper or outfit they have grown out of then please keep hold of it and they may be able to swap it with a friend.

We will share resources each week but also see our monthly newsletter for a collection of these resources that have been sent previously.
