ANNOUNCEMENTS
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Sign Ups end December 2, 2025 @ 10:00 am
Parents are invited to schedule parent/teacher conferences. We understand that teachers do fill up quickly. If this happens please contact the teacher by email to arrange another time and date. There are a few teachers who will not be holding conferences. You are welcome to email them directly and they will be happy to set up a date and time to meet with you.
If you have any issues with signing up your student please feel free to email Brenda Sweetland at brenda_sweetland@bedfordps.org. If you can add your student's name and grade along with a phone number to contact you that would be very helpful.
Important Info:
- You are able to sign up with 2 teachers for each of your student(s).
- Each conference is 10 minutes long.
- Do not sign them up back to back. You will need time to get to your second conference.
- Please make sure to write down the time, teacher and room number. Some teachers may not be in their normal rooms.
- All teachers' emails can be found at this link: https://www.bedfordps.org/node/30/people-by-department
- In addition, teachers will have their schedules hanging on their doors. If there are empty spots, you can sign up for those spots.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES & FUNDRAISERS
Snack & Toiletry Drive
ends December 19 | boxes in main office
The BHS National Honor Society and BHS Interact Club have partnered to run a snack and toiletry drive through December 19th. The proceeds from this drive will go directly to students at BHS to help them get the resources they need to get through the day and make them feel supported and looked out for. With the help of fellow students and staff, we hope to make our goal a reality. All grade levels and staff members will be competing amongst each other for a pancake breakfast during a flex block hosted by the administration. All you have to do is drop off snacks such as chips, granola bars, and microwaveable ramen, as well as toiletries such as tampons, deodorant, and Chapstick, to the designated bins in the main office, separated by grade level. Please consider donating; any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
Volunteer Opportunity for Civic-Minded Juniors and Seniors
The Town of Bedford Planning Board is launching the Comprehensive Plan, a 10-year vision and roadmap that will serve as the foundational policy document for the Town, guiding decisions on future growth, preservation, and change. It is critical that community members, including BHS students, engage to help shape the focus and priorities of this Plan.
The Board has assembled a committee to run feedback sessions to gather resident perceptions on key topics, such as:
Places in Bedford people cherish
A vision for Bedford in 2035
Living and working in Bedford
Operations and transportation
Protecting Bedford
Ways to play and experience Bedford
Identifying tensions and synergies in the town
The Planning Board is seeking civic-minded students from the Class of 2026 & 2027 who are comfortable sharing their feedback and experiences. Each session will take just under 2 hours, and participants will receive community service hours. Sessions are limited to 6-7 students per session.
Sessions will be held after school in the main office conference room on:
Wednesday, December 3 from 1:15-3:15 PM
Wednesday, December 10 from 1:15-3:15 PM
Wednesday, January 7 from 1:15-3:15 PM
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the Town's future.
