CHS Update November 3, 2026
Semester 1
CHS Students & Parents,
As we move into November, I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for our students, staff, and families who make Chaparral High School such a special community. This season of gratitude is a wonderful reminder of the importance of kindness, connection, and supporting one another.
With the semester moving quickly, I encourage students to stay focused on their academics, remain engaged in school activities, and continue demonstrating Puma PRIDE each day. Thank you to our families for your continued partnership and support in helping our students succeed. Wishing everyone a wonderful November.

CHS Named 2026 California Honor Roll School
π Weβre proud to be named a 2026 California Honor Roll School & District, an honor that celebrates schools and districts with exceptional student achievement in Math and English. Schools that receive the ERP Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.
π The ERP Honor Roll program, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes and preparing students with the skills employer's value and demand. Chaparral Hight School is one of the eligible public schools in California to be recognized. Our success is a shared achievement, made possible by the passion of our educators, the encouragement of our families, and the perseverance of our students.
π« Congratulations to the 17 TVUSD Schools who earned a place on this yearβs Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll!
Tardies & Attendance
Thank you for your support in helping your child arrive on time. A punctual start helps set everyone up for a smooth and productive day! We also want to remind families of the importance of maintaining good attendance. Consistent attendance is a key factor in academic success. If your student must be absent, please be sure to call the attendance office to excuse the absence as soon as possible. Next week we will start our first period tardy policy.
Thank you for partnering with us to encourage responsibility, punctuality, and success for all students.
