News for families of Margarita Middle School

Message from the Principal

Hello Mustang Families!

It is a new year and a new mindset. Mustang Character Academy is focused on GROWTH MINDSET for January. Our brains are growing as we learn about The Power of Yet, Being a Lifelong Learner, and Grit.

On Thursday, Feb 1st we will celebrate with our Semester Awards Assemblies. Join us to recognize scholars with 3.5 and 4.0 GPA along with our Subject Award Honorees. Here is the schedule. Look for invites via scholar's backpack: 6th grade 2nd period, 7th grade 4th period, 8th grade 7th period

Please set a goal to improve your scholar's attendance. Remember to be identified as Chronically Absent, you can't miss more than 10% of school no matter the reason.
Save the date for our PTSA Lunch with a Loved One on Feb 15th. Reservations will open Feb 1 through a Google Form.
New Superintendent Dr. Gary Woods visited our ASB, Yearbook, and Mustang News scholars. Check out the video.

It is such an honor to serve as the principal of such an amazing school.

Thank you for your help in making the Margarita Family so great!

Mr. Duane Legg
