What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth is a special holiday that celebrates freedom.
It is on June 19th every year. On this day, we remember when the last enslaved people were told they were free. That happened in Texas in 1865, over two years after freedom was announced.
Why is Juneteenth Important?
Juneteenth reminds us that all people should be treated equally.
It honors the courage and strength of those who were enslaved.
It celebrates freedom and justice for everyone.
In 2021, Juneteenth became a national holiday in the United States.

AM Procedures
Breakfast is served daily at 7:55 AM. Please send students as close to 7:45 AM as possible to ensure adequate supervision on the blacktop.
For car rider families using the drop-off lane, children should exit on the left side of the car onto the grass.
For everyone's safety, please avoid double parking during drop-off and pick-up.
Double parking creates unsafe conditions for students and blocks the flow of traffic. We appreciate your cooperation.
