Juan Causillas
Juan is a smart, kind, and hardworking student who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude in class. He has a strong love for soccer and enjoys spending his free time playing and watching games. Juan has set clear academic goals for himself, including earning straight A’s throughout 7th grade and graduating from high school. He especially enjoys math because he finds it engaging and approachable. Juan is inspired by Mr. Reyes, who motivates him by offering support and explaining concepts in ways that help him improve and succeed. Juan’s determination, respectful nature, and commitment to doing his best make him a wonderful choice for Student of the Month.
Scarlett Marte
Scarlett is a hardworking, kind, and respectful student who consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to both her academics and personal growth. She enjoys staying active through volleyball and cheer, and she also values spending time caring for children. Scarlett is focused on improving her volleyball skills while learning to better prioritize herself. She has ambitious future goals, including attending college and pursuing a career as a lawyer. Scarlett is currently reading They Wish They Were Us by Jessica Goodman, a fiction novel. Her favorite subject is History because she finds the assignments engaging and easy to understand. Scarlett is inspired by Mrs. Hartman from Team 1, whom she appreciates for being supportive, understanding, and encouraging without being harsh. Scarlett’s dedication, maturity, and positive attitude make her an excellent choice for Student of the Month.
