SHARP Survey | November 6
The Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Survey is an anonymous, confidential survey administered to public and charter school students from the Utah Department of Health in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 across Utah every two years. It gathers valuable data on adolescent mental health, substance use, bullying, and protective factors in our community. The SHARP Survey will be administered on Friday, November 6 to our sixth graders in their science class.
Spirit Week | November 9-13
Get ready for Spirit Week! Our theme is Generosity, celebrating the people who give their time, share what they have, and look for ways to make a difference in the lives of others. Join us for fun dress-up days as we celebrate kindness, giving, and what it means to be part of the PACK!
PACK Days | November 10-13
Our goal at SCMS is to help students learn how to successfully “do” middle school by staying organized, managing multiple classes, and taking ownership of their learning.
During PACK Days, teachers help students use Infinite Campus and Canvas to check grades, identify missing assignments, complete/submit work, and strengthen skills they need help with.

Hashtag Assignments
We use Hashtag Assignments in Infinite Campus to highlight assignments that teachers have identified as especially important for demonstrating student understanding. While all assignments are important, Hashtag Assignments help students and parents quickly identify the work that best demonstrates mastery of the concepts being taught in class.
Intramurals
November | Spelling Bee, Dungeons and Dragons & Lego Club
There’s something for everyone in our intramurals! From sports and fitness to academic challenges and fun activities, our intramurals give students a chance to try something new, have fun, and connect with others. All intramurals are free!
Permission Forms will be available online and in the Main Office as each activity approaches. Please return completed forms to the Main Office.
