A Message From the Principal
I appreciate all of the donations we have been getting in so far for state assessments, if you missed my message in last weeks newsletter here it is-
Again I am asking parents to donate individual snacks (goldfish, pb crackers, cheese crackers, fruit snacks, cheez its, granola bars) individual candies (mints, smarties, fun size candy bars) and gum. The students LOVED the treats last year, each student was able to get a snack, a candy and a piece of gum each day they tested. This provided them with fuel and energy prior to taking the test or they saved it to refuel after they took the test.
We have 5th and 8th graders that will take 3 tests and will have a total of 6 test sessions each and 6th and 7th graders that will take 2 tests and will have a total of 4 test sessions each.
We need roughly 1,400 snacks, 1,400 individual candies, and 1,400 pieces of gum in order to give each student one for all of their test sessions. If you are able to donate something please let me know or you can start sending it to school with your child on Monday.
Let's have a great end to the 3rd 9 weeks, rest up over spring break and be ready to hit it hard for the 4th 9 weeks!
