Week in Review for October 26-30, 2026
Fall is definitely here with cooler weather, darker mornings and leaves galore. With the change of weather, we want to remind families to make sure their children are dressed for the weather as we go outside rain or shine.
Our grade 5 and 6 students are learning about sustainability and environmentalism, and they have decided to try to make a difference in their local community. Students have busy collecting gently used clothing in hopes of keeping it out of the landfill. There are many jackets, winter gear, shoes, and all other types of clothing in both child and adult sizes. The "Pop Up Winter Shop" will be Thursday November 5th 12:30-6 pm and Friday November 6th 12:30- 2:30pm. Please come by with your family to see if there is anything you would like!
Our Firebird Friday was a hit celebrating Halloween! The students loved parading around the school sharing their creative costumes. Smiles and laughter was heard alongside the students dancing to Monster Mash and other Halloween hits! We hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween together! Please limit your child to one piece of candy in their lunch next week at school.
Have a fabulous week, Firebirds!
With Firebird Pride,
