Meet our staff at Ramapo Avenue Learning Center
Danielle Mete
Hello! My name is Danielle Mete and I am so excited to be part of NRESC at Ramapo Ave Learning Center! I grew up in New Jersey, moved to Florida for a couple of years and returned to be with my family. I hold a New Jersey and Florida Standard Teacher Certification in Nursery School through Sixth grade, a Teacher of Students with Disabilities K-12 and a Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization: English Language Arts/Literacy. I started my career as a 2nd grade teacher then moved to middle school. I stayed home for many years to raise my children who are now 25, 22, and 20 years of age. I began part time and substitute teaching again a while back and ultimately restarted my career in the primary grades over the past 6 years. My role at Ramapo Learning Center is teaching Preschool children ages 3-5 with a “learning through play” approach where the children experience cognitive development, social skills, emotional development, language development, physical development, creativity, discovery and academic success! I could not be happier to have joined this team!
Dehlila Savo
Hi! My name is Dehlila Savo. With five years as a teacher, assistant and background in cosmetology I blend creativity and education to make learning fun. Growing up as one of seven siblings childcare and safety has always been a priority. I see myself as a life coach for adolescence, guiding them with encouragement and the occasional dance party (my favorite thing to do with my 11-year-old daughter) While my singing won’t win awards I bring enthusiasm to everything I do. My goals? To create a safe, engaging space where learning feels like an adventure. I am excited to be a part of NRESC
Charlette Williams
My name is Charlette Williams, I am a dedicated professional and an alumnus from William Paterson University with a BA Psychology and a second BA degree from WPU in Liberal Studies and Sociology. With over two decades of experience in education, I have worked as a substitute teacher, a paraprofessional and teaching assistant, gaining a deep understanding of student needs and effective classroom management. I am passionate about supporting diverse learners and I combine academic knowledge with practical experience to create an engaging and inclusive educational environment. I am committed to making a positive impact on both students and the broader community.
Carolina Reyes
Hello, my name is Carolina and I like to express my creative side, through art crafts, and teaching. I love exploring new ways to express creativity and share that joy with others, especially children. It may not seem like much but guiding youthful minds through hands-on craft projects or sparking their curiosity in the classroom helps kids uncover their potential while nurturing their artistic skills. Each day is a chance to inspire and learn alongside my students!
