Mountain Avenue Thursday Update

We have our Halloween Parade scheduled to begin at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Of course, because the weather wants to cancel all our fun, there is potential rain in the forecast. As much as we would LOVE to stay the course with the parade and rain, it's just not a good idea, nor will we be doing that. Therefore, if it is raining tomorrow, or too wet to enjoy a parade, it will be canceled. Students may still dress up! Maybe, if it DOES rain, Halloween might be spared. Maybe?
We will send out a message tomorrow morning to let you know one way or another so you don't have to guess.

For the second year in a row, the Mountain Avenue Dads Club and Lincoln Elementary Dads Club teamed up for our Texas Hold'em Tournament & Bingo Night, and it was a huge success! Over 100 parents came out Saturday to play, win awesome prizes and raise money for our school.

Congrats to our reigning poker champ, Mountain Ave’s own, Jansen Lashley-Haynes!

Huge thanks to the businesses and families who donated prizes (see the flyer below). Many of these businesses are local and a big part of our community and schools, so please support them!

See you at the next one,
Mountain Ave Dads Club

With a successful Poker & Bingo Night behind us, it's a great time to get together and catch up! All Mountain Avenue dads are invited to come grab a drink (or one of the Elbow Room’s world famous pretzels) and hang out with other dads from the school. We’ll be there from 8-9:30. Hope to see you there!
