This is a reminder of our cell phone and earbud policy. Students may not have cell phones or earbuds out or on their person from the time they enter the building until the end of the school day. We have seen an increase in phones being taken away, and we appreciate your support in visiting with your child about following this expectation. If students need to contact a parent during the day, the office phone is always available. We also ask that you talk with your child about which phone calls can wait until after school so that students can remain focused on learning while in class.

During lunchtime, we’ve had a lot of fun with our first cornhole tournament, and students have really enjoyed it. As the weather gets colder and we need to stay inside longer during lunch, we’ve implemented several structured activities to give students positive options while maintaining a respectful lunch environment.

Finally, after-school tutoring begins this week and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:50–5:00 PM. Please note that students must be picked up promptly at 5:00 PM.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Some absences are unavoidable — like verified medical appointments or school activities — but others can be prevented. Under district policy, students are expected to maintain at least 90% attendance each semester. Vacations, unverified illnesses, or late notes often count against that requirement. Communicating with the office and teachers early helps everyone plan for student success. When families work with us to keep students in school, it demonstrates Respect and Responsibility, both key to the Warrior Way. Thank you for helping us keep our students learning and on track for success!
