📣 We’re Hiring: Join the Hardy Team!

Hardy Elementary is looking for a wonderful Noon Duty Assistant for the 2025–26 school year!

This part-time position is perfect for someone who loves kids, enjoys being outdoors, and wants to make a positive impact on our school community.

Position Details:

Approximate Hours: 10:00 AM–12:15 PM
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Help supervise lunch and recess, build positive relationships with students, and keep our playground safe and fun!

Grades 3-5 - State Testing Reminder – CAASPP

Our 3-5 graders have been amazing, and this is our last week of formal state testing. We will begin make-ups next week. Please continue to support on-time attendance each and every day!

Here’s how you can support your child during testing:

Encourage a Growth Mindset: Remind your child that effort matters most! Phrases like “Just do your best,” “You’ve got this,” and “It’s okay to not know everything—just keep trying” help build resilience.
Keep Things Calm: Keep routines predictable. A good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and a calm morning can set the tone for a confident day.
Celebrate Progress, Not Perfection: Talk with your child about everything they’ve learned this year. Remind them that this test is just one small snapshot of their journey as a learner.
Cheer Them On: A note in their lunchbox, a high-five at the door, or a quick pep talk can make all the difference!
