MHE PTA Staff Members of the Month

Monfort Heights PTA would like to recognize two outstanding and thoughtful professionals as the Staff Members of the Month...Mrs. Evy Becker & Mrs. Christie Mangold!!

Mrs. Becker is a deeply dedicated educator that has created a learning environment where every child feels safe, seen, and supported. Her incredible kindness and endless patience shine through in everything she does—from the way she greets her students each morning to how she gently guides them through challenges. Her classroom is a joyful place, filled with curiosity, laughter, and mutual respect. She fosters a love of learning by making lessons engaging and accessible, always meeting students where they are and helping them grow with confidence.

Mrs. Mangold, our outstanding 2nd grade Intervention Specialist, is a true gem in our school community—skilled, supportive, and wholeheartedly committed to her students' success. She works to meet each child’s unique needs, using thoughtful strategies and genuine connection to help them thrive. Christie brings positivity and encouragement to every session, empowering kids to believe in themselves. Beyond her work with students, she’s an incredible team player—collaborative, dependable, and always ready to support her colleagues with insight and empathy.

We are so grateful for the passion, dedication, and heart Mrs. Becker and Mrs. Mangold bring to our school. They truly make a difference every day!

MHE Wee Mail

Dear Parents,

Monfort Heights Elementary is pleased to announce the continuation of our "Wee Deliver" mail service. This allows you to send your child a letter, a note of praise, or perhaps a card for a special occasion while they are at school. Children LOVE to get mail! All you have to do is drop off the mail in the main office with the proper address. Click the link below to find the Wee Deliver Mailing Directory to use for addressing your letter and a sample of how to address the letter for your child. A sticker will suffice for your stamp, or you can draw your own. Our fifth grade postal workers will sort and deliver the mail at 3:00 pm daily. Your note or card will really brighten your child's day!
