MREC Cardinal Families -
It is hard to believe we are already in SEPTEMBER! Our students are making progress with learning and following school routines.
Please remember that we have a SCHOOL HOLIDAY - NO SCHOOL, 9/5.
Please review the carpool procedures (see the documents below).
Carpool/Walker Drop-off opens at 7:10 each day. If your child is a walker, please park at Cardinal Stadium to walk over and drop off your student on the concrete pad near carpool. Students will start their day in the cafeteria.
Carpool Times --- 7:10 am - 7:30 am
School Starts --- 7:30 am (We leave the cafeteria at 7:30 to start our day).
Carpool CLOSES at 7:30 am. If you arrive after 7:30 am, please pull around and walk your child into the MREC front office (3233 Fannin Drive).
Also, please be sure to LABEL your student's personal items (lunch box, back pack, jacket, water bottle, extra change of clothes, nap map, etc.) with your child's name and teacher name.
Friday, Sept. 9th, is the first Friday parents can eat lunch with their PK students. If you are coming to eat lunch you MUST:
-arrive 5-10 minutes BEFORE lunch starts
-check in with the front office using your picture ID
-check out in the front office when you leave
*Check with your child's teacher to find their lunch time.
With Cardinal Pride,

MREC Principal
**Weather Appropriate Clothing - Your child needs to wear weather appropriate clothing each day. Checking the weather and picking out clothes is a fun way to teach your child about the weather and how to dress for each season. Be sure to change out the extra clothes in your child's backpack with weather appropriate clothing since we have moved into spring.
