Happy Wednesday Cherrydale Families,

Title I at Cherrydale

Did you know that Cherrydale is a Title I school? Title I is a federal program that provides additional resources to schools to support students and help ensure all children have access to a high-quality education. As part of our annual Title I requirements, we are sharing our Annual Title I Parent Notification with families. We encourage you to take a few minutes to review this important information and learn more about how Title I supports our students and school community.

A Quick Reminder About Free & Reduced Lunch Forms

We also want to emphasize how important it is for all families to complete the Free & Reduced Lunch application in Skyward each year, even if you think your family may not qualify. These forms help our district determine eligibility for important programs and funding. Thanks to the diligence of our families in completing these forms, Cherrydale has been able to access free breakfast and lunch for all students for the past two school years! We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and encourage every family to complete the form in Skyward as soon as possible this year.

A Few Quick Reminders

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and smooth! Please continue to wait until 3:40 before accessing the playground so our staff can safely get students to buses and ensure everyone is where they need to be.

We also ask that families do not park and leave vehicles in the Kindergarten valet area or move/remove the cones. This space is specifically designed to allow our youngest learners to safely enter and exit vehicles, and keeping the area clear helps us maintain a safe and efficient arrival process for our Kindergarten students. Thank you for helping us keep our littlest Cheetahs safe!

As always, thank you for your continued partnership and for all the little things you do each day to help make Cherrydale a safe, supportive, and wonderful place for our students. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Cheetah community!
