Duval Dispatch
Celebrating 70 Years of Regal/Duval!
Week of Sep. 29th
Dear Duval Families!
It's the last week in September and the first week in October! As the seasons change, Duval moves into new and exciting times. Our value of the month shifts from Safety to Teamwork. We'll be taking on some challenges and learning the benefits of working together to accomplish our goals.
We are still in the 50's, the first decade of the Regal Street School. We play 50s music each morning and talk about what life was like when Regal first opened. Kids have found the remnants of the original sign behind a tree to the left of Door 24, which clearly spelled out "Regal Park School." Our first assembly will be in a couple weeks, and we invite EVERYONE who has a connection to Regal from the 50s to come in. If you know of anyone, please let us know!
Have a great week everyone!
