Car 89 won the intermediate modified division. This is the 1st modified championship for CMS. We have won the stock division championship for the past 2 years.
Also, I would like to thank our community partners, parents, teachers, staff, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to support our team this season. This would not be possible without your unwavering support!
Congratulations to Mr. Montgomery and the Team.

Students and Teacher of the Week
How to earn student of the week?
Teachers select each grade level’s student of the week. Students earn student of the week by making it to class on time, being prepared, completing all assignments, being respectful to their peers and adults, having at least a C average, and being kind and helpful to everyone. Our students of the week exhibit SOAR behavior – Show Respect, Own Your Actions, Arrive Ready, and Reach Higher.

Parent and Student Surveys
Hello Families. As the year wraps up we have a few surveys for parents and students to complete about the school climate. These surveys help us to know what CMS is doing well and where we need to improve. Please take a few moments to fill out these surveys. There is one for parents and one for students. The student survey is also available on their Guidance Schoology page. Thanks for your help and #EagleUp.

Message from the Athletic Director
Attention all 7th and 8th Grade Parents:

If you are interested in a sport at Grissom, please reach out to Coach Neeley, the Athletic Director, about those options. Thank you!
Thank you, National Defense Industrial Association, Tennessee Valley Chapter (NDIA-TVC) and Space and Missile Defense Working Group (SMDWG) for your $10,000 contribution to Challenger Middle School (CMS). With this generous donation, we will have a Math Interventionist for the 2nd semester of the school year. Ms. Regina Carter, retired CMS math teacher, is joining our team. She will provide intensive math support to a select group of CMS students. We are excited about this partnership and expect to see great math growth from our students.
