Fall Festival - Friday, October 25th
We would love to invite you to our Fall Festival this coming Friday, October 25th from 5:00-7:00pm.
- 5:00-5:30pm Halloween Parade
- Students meet in the gym at 5pm

- Because this is a school-sponsored event, costumes need to meet school guidelines:
- Be respectful: Avoid stereotypes. Be racially sensitive and culturally appropriate. Students may not dress up as an ethnic or cultural group. Skin color must not be altered in any way. Based on the yearly state Title VI/Indian Education meeting, and in respect to the Native American view, students should refrain from dressing up as Native Americans (i.e., Pocahontas, Sacagawea, Sitting Bull, etc.).
- Be responsible: Costumes may not be gory or threatening.
- Be safe: No real or pretend weapons.
- Be kind: Costumes should be fun and exciting, not political or offensive.
- 5:30-7:00 Festival Activities
- Trunk or treat
- Hot dog dinner available for purchase
- Yard games
- Glow stick dance party
- Book Fair in Activity Room
Veteran's Day Wagon Parade
We are looking forward to celebrating Veteran's Day on November 11, 2024. We have been working with our amazing PTA to make Veteran's Day a personal and memorable holiday, and would love to enlist your help!
In addition to a flag ceremony in the morning, we would like to hold a mini Veteran's Day parade inside the school. To make this fun and personal, we are asking for approx. 20 volunteers to make small wagon floats that either celebrate patriotism and veterans in general or celebrate a veteran in your family. For example, my parents are going to create a wagon float celebrating both of my grandfathers who served. Please do not include any real or pretend weapons in the float.
We are also looking for any and all veteran family members to join by walking in the parade. We will be giving all the kids small flags to wave as we line the halls and celebrate those who have served our country.
If you would like to support the parade by making a wagon float, please complete this form: https://forms.office.com/r/s6icxxcfmi
Thank you for helping to make this a memorable day for our students!
